Restaurants, Pubs and Wine Bars

We have lived and worked in Bollington for over 20 years and cannot think of anywhere else we would like to be.  Once boasting over 23 public houses (virtually one on every street corner) this has now reduced down to 10 but there has been a significant increase in restaurants and wine bars to compensate. You can literally eat out every night of the week, without having the need to get in your car, and have a different style of meal every evening.

We regularly eat out ourselves and genuinely cannot decide which is our favourite – it all depends on our mood that particular evening.

All we can do is give you our impression of the various places and leave the choice up to you!

Restaurants/Wine Bars:

Pappa’s, Palmerston Street: Our local "chippy" but with a twist -  once inside there is a cosy little restaurant serving fantastic Greek food.

Briscola, Palmerston Street:  This great Italian restaurant has been in Bollington for over 30 years.

The Lime Tree, High Street: A great Wine Bar serving locally sourced food – look out for their mid-week “early bird” specials.

Tapa, High Street: As its name suggests our local Tapas.

The Viceroy, Ingersley Road:  One of two fantastic Indian restaurants in the town.

The Bay Leaf Lounge, Wellington Road: This is the second of our two Indian restaurants.
